Recent pricing adjustments have been observed across several AI coding agents. Kiro's typical pricing changed from $20 to $40/mo. Both OpenAI Codex and Windsurf detected shifts in their pricing models from flat to hybrid and flat to hybrid respectively. Separately, a Gemini user reported their bill suddenly increased to $2500 in one day following API key usage.

Several agents received updates or new tools were released. Kimi Code version 2.3.0 introduced a confirmation dialog for model switching when conversation history is present. Claude Code's v2.1.306 fixed issues related to claude -p reporting "Not logged in" and API errors being replaced by "prompt is too long."
