Windsurf changed its pricing model from flat to hybrid, with individual plans now including a Free tier, a Pro tier at $20/month, and a Max tier at $200/month, shifting its floor from $0 to $20/month. GLM 5.2 also moved to a hybrid pricing model, starting at $18 per month with Pro and Max plans. In agent updates, Claude Code released v2.1.291, addressing regressions from versions 2.1.290 and 2.1.288 related to cloud session permission prompts and lost session messages. New tools integrating AI agents are emerging. Orcah Studio introduced a local-first video agent for Mac OS that can transcribe audio, recognize faces, detect objects, perform OCR, describe video scenes, and find specific moments.
